Capacitive test objects are cables, capacitors, but also large rotating machines, instrument and power transformers (for applied voltage tests). Resonant Test Systems enable not only HVAC tests at 50/60Hz, but also at higher or lower frequency (20-300Hz) and dynamic tests with fast voltage changes (e. G. Capacitors). Thanks to their precise sine-wave, Resonant Test Systems are very well suited for the combination of HVAC Withstand Tests and Partial Discharge (PD) Measurement.

The Test System includes following main components:

3. Capacitive Voltage Divider (Adding Inductance is a High Voltage Filter)
4. Resonant Capacitor (also Coupling Capacitor for PD Measuring System)
