CDY series impulse test systems can be used to generate impulse voltages simulating lightning strokes and switching surges.
The stage energy is 2.5 kJ~1620kJ.
Max. Charging voltage is 100~7200kV.
Applications covered include testing according to IEC, ANSI/IEEE as well as other national standards. The basic system can be upgraded in various ways for special tests and for greater ease of operation. A number of additional circuits and components allow optimizing the impulse test system for tests on different kind of high voltage test objects. The generator is due to its unique, modular, patented structure perfectly suited for transportation and easy on-site erection. Also the internal inductance is the lowest ever built.
